Version 2026-10-09
In one breath
- You get
- paid for every customer your video brings in, counted when a local business scans your pass at its counter, and a flat amount for each approved video where the business offers one. Part of every payment goes to the kids and teams you're a fan of
- You give
- honest videos of you, made at a business you really visited, marked as an ad, with no one under 19 on camera
- You are
- independent. An adult contractor, not our employee. Free to join or leave any program
1. Who can make videos
- You are 19 or older and live in the United States.
- You have one weNATIONIL account, in your own name, with your home town on it.
- Before your first payout you connect a payout account through Stripe, which collects your tax details (your W-9). We do not keep them.
2. How a program works
- A local business on weNATIONIL opens a program: the offer, what it pays for each counted walk-in, and any limits. The rate is fixed for you from the moment your video is approved.
- You make a short video of you at that business, post it, and share your pass link.
- A walk-in counts only when the business scans your pass at its counter. Clicks, views and likes are never paid.
- A program may also pay a flat amount for each video it approves. It is paid once per video, and it is shown before you join.
- A video the business does not review within 7 days is approved automatically.
- A pass counts once per customer visit. Programs may cap walk-ins per pass and per day. The cap is shown before you join.
3. Where the money goes
- Of what a business pays for each counted walk-in: 85% goes to the people who earned it (you, and the kids and teams you follow), 10% to weNATIONIL, and 5% to youth sport development.
- Part of your 85% goes to the athletes, teams and leagues whose cards you keep, divided evenly between them. The share is shown on every program before you join. We pay it to them directly. It is never taken from you after you're paid.
- An athlete under 19 is paid through their parent or guardian, never directly.
4. Tell people it's an ad
- Every video says it is an ad: say “ad” or “paid” in the first seconds or put it on screen, and put #ad in the caption. Where the app offers a “Paid partnership” label, turn it on.
- A video without the disclosure is not paid, and we may take it down. The law (the FTC's endorsement guides) applies to you, the business, and us.
5. Be honest
- You really visited or bought from the business before making the video.
- Say only what is true for you. The business is responsible for its own offer and anything it asks you to say about it.
- Never pay for, trade for, or fake a scan. Never scan your own pass.
6. Who is on camera
- No one under 19, ever, including your own children. A fan video is about you.
- Anyone else who can be recognized (a friend, staff, other customers) signs the release before you post, and you list them when you submit. Nebraska law protects a person's name and picture in advertising.
- No school logos, uniforms or facilities. No music unless you have the right to it for an ad.
7. Your video, and what the business may do with it
- You keep ownership of your video.
- The business may use your video in its own ads once it has paid for it: the flat amount for that video, or its first counted walk-in from it. Not before.
- It may use the video in its own ads, anywhere, for the longer of: 12 months from the day the video was approved, or for as long as it keeps paying. When neither holds, it has 30 days to stop new ads, and then its right to use the video ends.
- “Keeps paying” means all three are true: (i) its program is live and pays for walk-ins on your pass; (ii) its weNATIONIL budget or saved card can pay what is owed; and (iii) where we ask it to, it has confirmed for the current season that it keeps backing you. When any of these stops, the licence runs 30 more days for the business to stop new ads, then ends.
- A business may offer to buy your video outright. The price is set on the order before you decide, and you may say no. If you say yes and it pays, it may use the video for as long as it likes, still marked as an ad and never edited to say something you did not say.
- Ads already running when the licence ends must stop within those 30 days. Your own post stays yours.
- We may show and host your video on weNATIONIL to run the program, including on your public fan page, always marked as an ad.
8. Getting paid
- A business has 7 days to dispute a scan (for example, no purchase was made). After that, the walk-in is yours.
- We pay out through Stripe on a regular schedule shown in your account. Amounts too small to send carry forward to the next payout.
- We take money back only for: fraud, a scan the business disputed in time, or a refunded purchase. Nothing else.
- You are responsible for your own taxes. If we pay you $2,000 or more in a year, we send you a 1099.
9. Working with businesses
For 12 months after a program, you and the business agree not to move the same arrangement off weNATIONIL. This keeps the share for the kids and teams in place.
10. Questions and disagreements
- Raise any payout question within 30 days of the payout.
- We can pause or end your account for fraud or for breaking these terms. Walk-ins already confirmed are still paid.
- Write to ben@wenationil.com. We answer in plain words.
