Story-rights license

Version 2026-09

In one breath

You give
non-exclusive permission to shoot and publish short athlete stories from your events, and to use your name and marks in them
You get
a share of the sponsor revenue those stories produce, paid out of our fee, and your events on the local calendar businesses buy against
You keep
every broadcast and streaming right you have. This license never touches live

1. What is licensed

  • Short-form, athlete-centric video and photo made at your events, by us, by a parent, or by a producer on a job.
  • Your league, tournament, or series name and marks inside that content.
  • If you choose, a clip license on any broadcast you yourself control, for the same short-form use.

2. What is not licensed

  • Live streaming or full-game distribution of any kind.
  • Any exclusivity. You may license the same rights to anyone else.
  • Anyone else's footage. A stream owned by a third party is theirs, and we do not cut from it under this license.

3. Access

You tell us the filming policy per event: open, credentialed, or prohibited. We follow it. Credentialed producers carry the credential you issue in the app.

4. Athletes

Every athlete who appears in sponsored content has consented, with a parent if under 18. Your license never substitutes for that consent.

5. Money

  • The share is a percentage of sponsor revenue from deals tied to your events, shown on the license. It is paid out of our fee.
  • Sent by Stripe, our payment provider, to an account you control, monthly, minimum $25.
  • You see every deal it came from.

6. Term

Season by season, renewing unless either side ends it with 30 days' notice. Content made during the term stays usable for its usage period.
